About us

Built by BCBAs who wanted better.

Two Board Certified Behavior Analysts. One shared first name. A stubborn belief that continuing education should be worth the hour it costs you.

DaniB-Haven started as a running complaint. We'd each finish a required CEU, compare notes, and land in the same place: technically accurate, professionally produced, and almost entirely disconnected from the work we'd be doing the next morning.

The gap wasn't rigor. It was relevance. Nobody was talking about the caregiver who agrees to everything in session and tries nothing between sessions. Nobody was walking through what to do when your beautifully written plan needs a level of staffing the school does not have. Nobody was naming the interdisciplinary meeting where three professionals politely talk past each other for forty minutes.

So we started building the courses we wanted. Each one is a guided discussion grounded in research and drawn from active clinical practice, written for practitioners who already know the fundamentals and need help with the parts that are genuinely hard.

Your space to learn, grow, and transform with training that treats you like the professional you already are.

Caregiver training & telehealth service delivery

Founder photo coming soon

Daniela's clinical work centers on caregiver training and telehealth service delivery. She has spent years figuring out why parent training programs stall and how to design them so families can actually keep up. She writes the courses she wishes someone had handed her in her first supervisory role.

What I wish I learned earlier

That adherence is something you assess in the environment, not something you hope the family brings with them.

School consultation & ethics in resource-limited settings

Founder photo coming soon

Daniela splits her time between school consultation and in-home services, which means she spends a lot of her week negotiating what is possible versus what is ideal. Her focus is ethical decision-making in resource-limited settings and helping practitioners document the reasoning behind their recommendations.

What I wish I learned earlier

That the smaller plan, run with integrity and documented honestly, is almost always the more ethical plan.

What we hold ourselves to

Say the useful thing

If a definition doesn't change what you do on Monday, it doesn't earn a slide. We spend our minutes on decisions, not vocabulary.

Respect the constraints

Real families have jobs. Real classrooms have 24 kids. Our examples assume limited time, limited staffing, and imperfect buy-in, because that's the field.

Stay warm about it

Behavior analysis is a serious science practiced by tired humans. You can be rigorous and still be pleasant to spend an hour with.

About the cats, briefly

Yes, there are cats in our branding. They supervise the recordings, sit on the reference lists, and remind us that rest is part of sustainable practice. Consider them unpaid consultants with excellent boundaries.
